I just signed up for 23 Mobile Things. According to the Welcome Message on their Website, "23 Mobile Things is a self-paced learning program that will identify 23 types of apps for me to discover." I recently completed a Master's Certificate Program in k-12 Tech Integration from the University Of St. Thomas and was looking for something to keep me informed and engaged. I am a true lifelong learner who believes in building a strong and vibrant Professional Learning Community. In my Parochial Elementary School I am the only Media Specialist/Tech Coach on staff. If I didn't reach out to the greater community to find like minded educators I would not survive! 23 Mobile Things appeals to me because I will be joining a "virtual" community of like minded individuals. I am hoping I will be introduced to some new concepts. I am also hoping that I will be able to polish skills I already possess. Finally, I hope I will be able to contribute some knowledge that I have found useful and inspiring.

I hope this turns into a great community for you. It is one of our goals to connect like-minded people from all types of libraries.
